Teen weight loss methods?
I want to lose 40 pounds but I really want to be smart about this. I'm in high school and my confidence is really suffering as a result of being overweight. I have a pretty busy schedule, between work, drama club, singing lessons, homework, and school itself and I feel as if it makes it easier to eat like crap (Not an excuse, just an explanation). I need to figure out a way to work exercise into this. What exercises would you recommend? I was considering getting a YMCA membership and maybe trying jogging eventually. As for food, what are some healthy meals that can be made quickly? Or just healthy food ideas in general? Also a few other things to take into consideration. I have hyperextension in my feet and ankles, which basically translates to really bad balance. This means bicycling is out of the question. I also have asthma, so I'm kind of nervous to start jogging right away. One last thing, would you recommend having a friend go in for this with me? Like one who is healthy, to motivate me? I know this is a lot, but I really need to get a handle on this before it gets out of control, but I don't know where to start. Please, if you have no advice other than something you think is funny or witty, don't bother. I don't find pretentious comments motivating, and I'm truly and honestly asking for some good advice.     Which oil to use for frying? and for salad dressing? I saw some video which says that EVO oil has pulyunsaturated fats which become “bad” when heated to high temperature. I am Gujarati vegetarian and relish Dhoklas dipped in uncooked spiced oil. My “oil for salad” question is really for that. I really do not eat any salad. The “oil for frying” question is for Papadum. I prefer my papadums fried. Occassionaly I fry potato fries. But plz go ahead and answer Q’s for general situation.
