quinoa is a wonder grain, high in protein, high in fiber, and low in fat. Even I can cook it, just two ingredients: quinoa and salsa. Let it boil 15min and its done. 1 serving (1/4 cup dry) has: 170 calories 6g protein 3g fiber 3g fat For a great meal, have quinoa with 1/2 cup cooked pinto beans (or half a chicken breast) and a piece of fruit.

Has anyone actually lost weight by adding green tea to their diet?Obviously a great deal of healthy lifestyle changes are necessary for weight loss…
But I hear so many claims saying that adding several cups of green tea a day to a healthy diet can help a person lose weight.
I like green tea…and I'm overweight.
I dont drink green tea every day, I usually drink only water (I dont like juices or sodas …i'm a water person).. I dont drink coffee…the only time I drink something other than water is an occasional cup `of green tea. Should I start drinking a few cups of green tea every day?
I've recently re-started my weightloss journey. I've got 50lbs to lose. I just moved out on my own from my parents house and things have been easier now that I can control what foods come into my house (Lots of fresh fruits and veggies around now!)..and I live very close to a popular walking trail that I've been doing often along with exercise videos (at least one a day)..
I've been out on my own since Oct 9th (thats when my boyfriend and I, both 21 years old, bought our condo), and I have not seen any results yet – and I feel that I've made drastic changes as far as my eating and activity go. Its getting frusterating. While I know that these changes wont occur over night, I'd like to think maybe I can do something to speed things up.

Which oil to use for frying? and for salad dressing? I saw some video which says that EVO oil has pulyunsaturated fats which become “bad” when heated to high temperature. I am Gujarati vegetarian and relish Dhoklas dipped in uncooked spiced oil. My “oil for salad” question is really for that. I really do not eat any salad. The “oil for frying” question is for Papadum. I prefer my papadums fried. Occassionaly I fry potato fries. But plz go ahead and answer Q’s for general situation.
About zero pounds.
