Eat a healthy balanced diet. The emphasis is on fruits and vegetables. The American Cancer Society does not support a fruit or vegetable such that it reduces the risk of cancerous cells in the body. As the research you will learn that these fruits and vegetables help considerably to prevent disease and they must all be part of your diet. Some fruits and vegetables known to fight against cancer (in no particular order): broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, Brussell, tomatoes, blueberries, melons, carrots, cherries, peppers, figs , garlic, grapefruit, mangoes, oranges, strawberries, sweet potatoes, etc. Then add the herbs, vegetables, nuts, like peanuts, and whole grains like oats and wheat and have a balanced diet of many foods to help prevent cancer. Even the water increases your metabolism, strengthen your immune system and helps fight disease. Although there are fruits that are new to us in America, like acai berries, which help prevent cancer.
Avoid alcohol and other unhealthy foods and beverages. Not just alcohol, but sugar, artificial sweeteners, soft drinks and processed foods as much as possible if you want to reduce the risk of cancerous cells in the body.
